recorded August 17, 2009, running time 39 minutes 5 seconds

Alex Jones speaks with author and historian Webster Tarpley, and anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan joins the conversation later. The discussion includes a variety of issues including the increasing potential dangers of “false flag” domestic terrorism, an update about conflicts in the Middle East, and the importance of left wing activism criticising Obama’s pro-war agendas.

Potential Dangers of “False Flag” Domestic Terrorism

First discussed is increasing danger of globalist elite individuals who have control within the United States Government potentially engaging in government created “false flag” attacks which in previous years under the Bush Administration have been blamed on groups such as Al-Queda.  Explained is why now the blame would most likely be shifted to domestic groups such as right wing gun owners and returning war veterans— groups that are now being singled out as a threat by Department of Homeland Security reports.  (Also see: Media Floats Talking Point That Gun Owners are Domestic Terrorists)

Then discussed is the possibility of “false flag” attacks being carried out through a release of Flu virus which would likely be no more dangerous than normal seasonal flus, yet is being prepared to be hyped out of proportion by the media for many potential ulterior motives.  (Also see: Alex Jones Speaks With Len Horowitz About Issues of the 2009 Swine Flu Outbreak , and ”Accidental” Contamination Of Vaccine With Live Avian Flu Virus Virtually Impossible and Flu Pandemic Hype: Another Pretext for World Government)

Potential reasons for “false flag” attacks is explained as being to create fear in the populace in order to drum up support for failing globalist agendas and to increase restrictions on personal liberties such as unprecedented occupation of the United States by hundreds of thousands of battle hardened troops.  (Also see: Progressive.org: The Pentagon Wants Authority to Post Almost 400,000 Military Personel in U.S.)

It is explained how “false flag” attacks are a historically common tactic of governments, and past examples of governments blaming such attacks on domestic groups is discussed, such as how extremist militia-type groups like the Ku Klux Klan have been infiltrated and today are actually frequently run by intelligence and counterinsurgency groups— which often cross over the line of merely attempting to neutralize those groups but rather use the groups for carrying out terrorist attacks against the citizenry, as has happened during the Clinton Administration.  (Also see: Media Floats Talking Point That Gun Owners are Domestic Terrorists, and The FBI white supremacist ”agent provocateur” Hal Turner publicly urged the lynching of congresswoman Cynthia McKinney)

International Activities of the Establishment, and the Importance of Activism from the "Left"

Tarpley discusses the escalation of the war in Afghanistan, and Obama’s “hand picked” appointment of General Stanley McChrystal— who has a controversial past which includes creating a network of torture chambers across Iraq. Tarpley describes Stanley as a “special forces utopian” that works with elements of the Taliban and Al-Qaeda for accomplishing Western goals in the Middle East.

Tarpley explains that criticism coming from left wing activists is extremely important for helping to change Obama’s policies, due to Obama relying on “left cover” by being perceived as a “friend of the left” and “a freind of the masses".  Tarpley stresses the importance of activists exposing Obama deceptively working for facist corporate globalist interests.

Tarpley explains why it is very important for Obama to be heavy critizised from the left, rather than the left attempting to please Obama in order to “curry favor” for whatever cause or issue an activist may be interested in advancing.  It is important to heavily criticize and caricature Obama in order to tear away his false manufactured aura. He explains that if Obama’s “left cover” is endangered, then Obama will need to give concessions or “throw a shuck,” and the only way for individuals in the peace movement to make progress is through heavy criticizing Obama.

Issues with “left cover” are further examined, including strategies being implemented by the establishment of playing Obama against the most “buffoonish” and controlled of right wing news sources such as Rush Limbagh and Sean Hannity, who are viewed as “Ogres” by much of the population— in order to define a “Universe of discourse” which offers only false choices.

Tarpley discusses positive developments of the anti-war movement starting to wake up to the realities of Obama’s cynicism and “war monger” commitments, explaining how Obama initially ran as staunchly anti-war and then continually ratcheted up his pro-war stances as the election drew nearer after the perception of his being anti-war was firmly entrenched in the public’s consciousness.

Cindy Sheehan Joins the Discussion

Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan joins the conversation, explaining how she will be leading a demonstration at Martha’s Vinyard where Obama will be vacationing. She explains how much of the anti war movement has not been interested in protesting American involvement in war under Obama due to the fact that many are still under the impression that Obama is somewhat of a “peace person.”  Alex Jones mentions that a big reason for this is the fact that much of the peace movement is largely “foundation funded,” meaning that much of the major funding and organization of the movement has actually been supplied and co-opted by powerful establishment organizations such as the Ford Foundation which have deceptive globalist agendas.

Cindy mentions that she supports the 9/11 truth movement and a move for a new investigation, and says that she is not certain of who actually carried out the attacks however she is tired of the continual “... so-called disasters which get us into one war after another” and domestic civil liberties continually eroded.

Alex Jones then mentions many past examples of staged “false flag” events such as Gulf of Tonkin and Dick Cheney wanting to blow up American ships to be blamed on Iran. He says such “false flag” attacks will be defeated through pointing out that the establishment will engage in such attacks, as well as not letting them play the public off of each other using the “false left-right paradigm.”

Sheehan summarizes by saying the goal is “exposing the robber class” which Bush and Obama are both members of.
