OAN report: “Muslim Community Patrols have NYC Residents Alarmed”
This VOA news broadcast explains issues with Muslim Community Patrols that are being established in New York City.
It says, “The [Muslim] patrols sprang up as an apparent response to some fourteen biased incidents against New York Muslims in 2017— actually a rather low number considering there is over 8.6 million people living in the city.”
The report says the organization’s founder claims that they are planning to expand the program to the entire city, with the program being “like a neighborhood watch but on steroids.”
The video closes by mentioning examples of problems with Sharia patrols in Europe and it explains that many are worried about the same problems happening in the United States.
