Members of Congress and refugee resettlement agencies have introduced an “Afghan Adjustment Act” to immediately grant legal residency and a pathway to citizenship for 36,000 of the Afghans who were brought during the evacuation of that country last year.  The point of the act is to rush the process of legalizing the unvetted migrants before too many questions are asked about the situation, as is explained in this article.

Following is a summary of a March 3, 2022 FrontPageMag article by Daniel Greenfield.

— Biden’s Afghanistan evacuation brought tens of thousands of Afghans to America with no vetting, where they were dropped off at military bases to be put through the resettlement process across the United States.

— 40% of the “refugees” (about 36,000 of them) had no legal basis for being evacuated, even after bipartisan Congressional actions watered down the standards for applying for SIV visas to the point where any Afghan employed in any manner by any U.S. contractor, charity, or media qualified.

— The majority of the evacuated Afghans were not visa recipients, but rather they were simply able to get past Taliban checkpoints on the way to the airport, while Americans and visa holders were turned back.  Many have no paperwork, and no legitimate basis for even claiming political asylum.

— Despite that situation, a coalition of administration officials and refugee resettlement profiteers have prepared a shortcut to legalizing their status in the U.S.— being known as the “Afghan Adjustment Act” which would grant 36,000 of them permanent legal residency and a pathway to citizenship.

— Tens of thousands of Afghans have been put on “humanitarian parole” for two years in the U.S., which was done to give the refugee resettlement organizations time to handle their cases in order to figure out a basis for applying for more permanent asylum.

— The Afghans have not been vetted, and hundreds of them have been flagged as security risks so far.  Fifty of the identified security risks have been released into the United States, and four of them have already been involved in sexual assault cases.  The resettlement contractors are in a rush to expedite the process of legalizing the Afghans as soon as possible due to such problems that will increasingly be occurring.

— Biden intentionally caused the circumstances of the hasty evacuation, and the evacuees were then brought straight to the U.S. rather than to staging locations in Qatar and elsewhere where they could have been thoroughly screened and vetted for as long as necessary.

— The rush is continuing in the U.S., where Biden has been cutting the vetting and resettlement process from years to days— where the priory is now to give the Afghans instant legal status, despite the fact that two years has been designated for that process.

— The rapid resettlement is being done to ensure that the invasion will be irreversible.  The odds of the migrants being deported even in two years is slight, however the Afghan Adjustment Act would lock in the status even for those who are terrorists, rapists, or other types of criminals.

— The act also speeds up the process of family members and alleged family members being subsequently brought in, which will significantly transform cities, states, and the nation.

The Oregon congressman Earl Blumenauer

— The House version of the Afghan Adjustment Act is being drafted by the congressman Earl Blumenauer, who is one of the most notorious shills for Islamists, and the Democrats are attempting to garner support among Republicans to legalize the status of the unvetted Afghan migrants.

— The refugee resettlement agencies such as Church World Service and HIAS, as well as umbrella groups like the Refugee Council, which includes Islamic Relief USA, Amnesty International, the Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, OXFAM, and others, have been pressuring congress to legalize the Afghans as soon as possible without asking any questions about the situation.

— The point of the Afghan Adjustment Act is to protect the Afghan migrants from having to apply for asylum, with its proponents claiming that the backlog of asylum requests is too large.  However, if the refugee asylum process were used by people who are actually fleeing persecution rather than Latin Americans crossing the border to flee high crime rates, the system wouldn’t be overwhelmed with a backlog of frivolous asylum requests.  In any event, two years would be adequate time to process the current requests.

— Americans have been lied to about every aspect of the Afghanistan withdrawal.  First they were lied to about the Afghans being “vetted,” then politicians, the media, and resettlement agencies claimed they are providing visas to “interpreters”— however the vast majority of the Afghans actually need their own interpreters, and most of them have never worked with the military.  If they had worked with the military, they would have qualified for SIV visas.  In fact, tens of thousands of them have never worked for any American organization in any capacity.

— The Afghan Adjustment Act is the biggest scam yet of the Afghanistan evacuation, with its purpose being to shut down any further scrutiny about the situation.  It is not a humanitarian gesture to persecuted people, but rather it is a cover-up.
